Overview
Bot Built Arcade, by Tandem Tales LLC, is a small, hobby‑style game site. All games are written by AI. We collect as little information as possible to operate leaderboards, ratings, security, and advertising.

Information We Collect
- Leaderboard submissions: When you submit a score, we store the game ID, your chosen display name (20 chars max), score, and a server timestamp. We do not store your IP for the leaderboard.
- Ratings: When you rate a game, we store your rating (1–5 stars) per game in our Cloudflare D1 database. We do not store IP addresses for ratings. Your own selection is remembered on your device using localStorage.
- Contact: Our contact form uses your email client (mailto:). Messages are sent directly to us and are not stored on our servers.
- Hosting and security logs: Our host (Cloudflare) may process IP addresses, user agents, and similar metadata in transient logs for operational and security purposes.
- Advertising: We use Google AdSense, which may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. See “Advertising and Cookies.”

Data Retention
- Leaderboard entries are retained to preserve competition history.
- Ratings keep individual rating submissions. Your device may store your own selection via localStorage until you clear your browser data.
- Operational logs are retained by our host per their policies.
- Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain records.
Your Choices and Rights
- Use a nickname for leaderboards if you don’t want to share your real name.
- You can request removal of a leaderboard entry by emailing us with the game, score, approximate time, and display name.
- For ad preferences and personalization, use the links in “Advertising and Cookies.”
- If you are in regions with privacy rights (e.g., EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, deletion, or correction by contacting us.
International Processing
We use Cloudflare and Google services that may process data in various regions. By using the site, you understand information may be transferred internationally.
